Topic: leukemia after exposure to benzene
Message: My Mom was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia with dysplasia. There was nothing they could do for her. They gave her three months and she made it almost eleven months. My Mom died a horrible death and the thought that this is an acquired disease makes me totally sick. Alot of the research I have read said benzene is the culprit.

Message: My mother was sick for 3 weeks and was told by doctors she had the flu, and as it turned out, lukemia, or the cancer had taken over 90% of her cells, according to her specialist at the hospital, where she died. It was a tragic loss. She had been using benzen to clean her paint brushes. She was an accomplished porcelain artist. I contacted Parker and Waichman and was told they were interested in talking to me about it, but I have not heard from anyone as of yet. If it wasn’t bad enough that I was laid off by Worldcom and moved to Oklahoma where my mother lived and now have no income, and am trying to get my own small business going, because I just can’t make much money here, and Worldcom certainlty didn’t help, in fact I got a nasty letter about owing them money on a cell phone, they turned me over to a collection agency on, and that is totally untrue.
